Wetherholt and Associates, Inc. provided roofing and building enclosure consulting services, including design assistance and review of roofing and building enclosure details and specifications with comments. We performed submittal review, making sure there was continuity with the project documents. During construction, we provided on-site inspection of the roof, weather barrier, and building enclosure components on a part-time basis. Associated with each site visit were detailed field reports with photographs. We attended pre-construction meetings for roofing, cladding, and waterproofing, as well as a pre-spray foam meeting. We also provided coordination of proposals for air barrier testing, and monitored the testing performed by the testing agency. On an as-needed basis, we provided assistance to the design team as it related to roofing, cladding, and waterproofing. We also partnered with the design team and the owner to solve construction related issues as they arose. Once construction was substantially complete, we provided punch list inspection of items not yet completed.
