Wetherholt and Associates, Inc. provided building envelope design consulting and application inspection services for the new Fire Station #32, which included a wall-mounted solar installation. We reviewed and commented on the drawings and specifications, provided by BCJ Architects, and attended design review meetings. We assisted in the evaluation of substitution requests during the subcontractor bidding process, and we reviewed submittals, RFIs, and change order requests. During construction, we provided part-time application inspection of the building envelope (including walls, roofing, and waterproofing). With each site visit, we prepared a report, including photographs, detailing our observations.
