Our initial work included evaluation of a low sloped, built-up asphalt roof and preparation of a report, including options for repair and replacement.  During the initial evaluation, we suggested that the owner consider additional analysis of the underside of the roof deck, to determine if condensation was an issue.  Analysis of possible moisture issues beneath the roof deck included use of infrared thermography and data loggers, in conjunction with various intrusive openings through the interior insulation system.  Once the moisture analysis was complete, Wetherholt and Associates, Inc. assisted the owner with determining a roof replacement option and prepared specifications, which included joint sealant replacement in the exterior tilt-up concrete walls.  During the construction phase, we provided part-time inspection of the roof replacement.  Associated with each site visit were detailed field reports with photographs.
